Park City Feature

The next stop on our #skitheu resort feature of the 2015-16 season is Park City. Situated only 30 minutes away from campus and offering the Epic Local College Pass, it’s the perfect resort for a U student to call home throughout the winter.

This season Park City invested 50 million dollars including a new gondola that connects Park City Mountain Resort and The Canyons making it the largest resort in the U.S. with a mind-blowing 7,300 skiable acres.

There are over 300 trails, 38 lifts, 7 terrain parks, 14 bowls and a super pipe. You could spend days here without visiting the same place twice.

The Epic Local College Pass is one of the best deals you can find as a student at the U. Not only do you get unlimited access to ride Park City all season, the pass gives you access to resorts in Colorado and Tahoe, including Breckenridge, Vail and Heavenly.

As part of Park City’s capital investment they’ve really beefed up their food services throughout the resort. There are now more than two dozen restaurants including the brand new Miner’s Camp located on the Park City side of the mountain near the base of the Quicksilver Gondola.

Whether you prefer gentler learning terrain, seeking steep and deep powder lines in wide open bowls, carving the groomers or sending it in the terrain park, Park City does not disappoint.
